I started doing Tae kwon do in the summer of 2011 and I never looked back, originally this was going to be a bucket list for me I was going to quit when I got my first degree black belt, but over the years I enjoyed tae kwon do so I decided to keep training. I finally passed my black belt test on June 13, 2014. I worked hard and I finally passed my 2nd degree black belt test on September 21, 2017, with more persistance and I finally passed my 3rd degree black belt test on February 2nd, 2019. I don't know what the future holds for me but right now I want to keep on training and get better as a martial artist and a better person.

My Taekwondo career started October 17 2017 when I was 9 years old with Schutz Martial Arts. As practice become a new normal for me, I slowly started climbing the ranks from white on Dec 2 2017 to Jr black belt on July of 2021. My Taekwondo career started October 17 2017 when I was 9 years old with Schutz Martial Arts. As practice become a new normal for me, I slowly started climbing the ranks from white on Dec 2 2017 to Jr black belt on July of 2021. I was then given the opportunity of a few weapon options, in which lead me to the sword. The sword then led me to join Kumdo “The Way of the Sword” in October of 2021. I am currently a 5th Gup in Kumdo. Since the day of my career in Taekwondo, I have joined many tournaments in the weapons, sparring, board breaking and the forms categories. In doing so, I have won trophies and medals of various designs and placings. Even though I have done many tournaments, I enjoy helping behind the scenes. Taekwondo and Kumdo have supplied challenges and different obstacles to persevere. My goal is to continue climbing the ranks until I no longer can. I have learned many different technics and many more to learn to pass down in the future.

I began taekwondo when I was just 4-years-old in Nov 2014 with Schutz Martial Arts. I received my very first white belt in Dec 2014. I was so excited and proud I wanted to keep moving up in belts. I became a junior black belt at Dragon Martial Arts at the age of 10-years-old in July 2021 even with taking 2 years off. I have trained in t
I began taekwondo when I was just 4-years-old in Nov 2014 with Schutz Martial Arts. I received my very first white belt in Dec 2014. I was so excited and proud I wanted to keep moving up in belts. I became a junior black belt at Dragon Martial Arts at the age of 10-years-old in July 2021 even with taking 2 years off. I have trained in the bo staff and sword also. I have been in multiple tournaments and have earned medals and trophies mostly in form and weapons.
I started training with Master Marty in Kumdo when I was 10-years-old in Jan 2021. In July 2021 I became a 4th GUP.
It has been a challenging but fun experience. I would love to keep going forward and maybe some day teach and own my own gym.

I received my yellow belt there, but when we moved to Alexandria I did not do taekwondo for a couple years until my brother decided to join. I received my yellow belt there, but when we moved to Alexandria I did not do taekwondo for a couple years until my brother decided to join. Since 2019, I have been training at Dragon Martial Arts even though the rest of my family quit I received my black belt on July 15th of 2022. I plan to continue training hard for my 2nd degree black belt and tournaments that I will be competing in the future
